Outside of my role as events director, I’ve also had the opportunity to manage one-off stunts and promotions from concept to execution. I relish the opportunity to dust off my other skills, such as comedy writing, quick-thinking, and public speaking. These are the things I'm most proud of.
The Mass Effect Pack
Assistant Project Manager
I worked closely with partners at BioWare to bring the Cards Against Humanity Mass Effect Pack to life. My focus was on educating Cards Against Humanity writers on the Mass Effect series, and assisting with card writing. Fans loved the pack and it received coverage from outlets such as Polygon, Mashable, PC Gamer, Gamespot.
The Holiday Hole
On-Site Brand Manager
As an onsite representative for the Cards Against Humanity Holiday Hole, I ensured decisions made by the broadcast and construction teams aligned with brand goals. I maintained regular contact with the dig site’s neighbors, and managed press and fan visitors who came to the location over the weekend.
The hole was covered by NPR, CNN, CNET, AdWeek, and Polygon.
Worldbuilders Charity Overwatch & StarCraft Tournaments
Tournament Producer & Talent Coordinator
As part of Worldbuilders' end of year fundraisers for 2016 and 2017, I worked with their team to produce two charity video game tournaments. These single-elimination tournaments featured teams of geek celebrities playing Starcraft and Overwatch, and raised over $42,000 for Heifer International. You can read more about the tournament here.
